Chinese Bellflower

Patterns used are from Omiyage by Kumiko Sudo

This is the front of the bag.
This is the back of the closed bag.  Note the fabric beads
have tiny tucks on them.
Now the bag is open.

Chrysanthemum

This is the chrysanthemum bag closed.  This bag is very small, but it's also very quick to make as it only has two pieces to sew together.
Here is the same bag open.  If I make it again, I'll use longer ties than the 15" the pattern requires.

Candy Twist

This is the candy twist flattened a bit.  I just happened to have a couple of star beads for it.
This is the bottom of the candy twist.  There is a covered button on the very bottom.
The candy twist stands about 4" high when opened.
The blue fabric is twisted as it is sewn to show the
red print on the bottom.

Pincushion--Variation of Playtime

This is my variation of Sudo's Playtime/fruit pincushion.  There are three strawberries on it, but the middle one doesn't show up too well in this view.  You also can't see some red chenille thread that I couched into place along the bottom of the pincushion.  The pincushion is resting on some Japanese fabrics that someone on the cq list sent me.  She'd collected them in Japan.  My little person looks more like he's praying than playing with the strawberries.  LOL!  I think if I do it over, I'll put leaves and white strawberry blossoms on it instead of the little person.  I really like the styrofoam ball for the pincushion, though.
